What they do
It provides insights that enable smarter decision-making and protects investments by mitigating risk throughout the asset lifecycle. They combine data science with structural engineering knowledge to develop algorithms that use data from sensors, satellites, and environmental datasets to keep infrastructure secure. Monitoring structural health is important to prevent collapses of bridges, dams, tunnels, and other essential services, and to keep new construction projects safe and prevent damage to the environment.
Product & technology
The product is designed to extract information from large-scale datasets, collected by multiple sensors and sources of information, where there is often little related knowledge. It can now use thousands of sensor readings on-site, as well as satellite readings, images, environmental data, and other high-volume data streams, all at high sampling rates. The platform is designed to securely store petabytes of data and process it quickly. This includes data from in-situ sensors, satellite readings, and environmental measurements.
