Using patented nonlinear photonics and novel computational logic, Finchetto is building a multi-node, all-optical packet switch that data centres can use to route data at light speed without using energy to convert between optical and electrical.

- →Eliminates optical to electric to optical conversion - massive theoretical performance improvement (12x to 20x).
- →Future proof in the sense that they do not need a new design when transceivers reach 800GPS thus mitigating some of the future tech risk for the network.
