Operating in VLEO offers massive advantages for higher resolution imagery, global communications, IoT, and defence, but has historically been constrained by extreme atmospheric drag and atomic oxygen erosion. CASA has developed an advanced 2D material coating to overcome these barriers, making VLEO commercially accessible.
