Their microbes have increased production capabilities & can grow using cheap wastestreams as fermentation feedstocks. With these advances, Evolutor microbes will be licensed to large-scale biomanufacturers to maximise their profit margins & minimize their operating costs.
Product & technology
Our in-house tech the Accelerated Evolution Platform is comprised of 3 layers of innovation, all built on top of expert academic & commercial know-how within the founding team. 1) Synthetic biology: novel molecular toolkits to amplify the power of evolution & exploit the full potential of biology for biomanufacturing. 2) Bioreactor hardware: bioreactor systems designed for automated control of evolution, data generation & high-throughput scale-out. 3) Algorithmic control & predictive AI: once layers (1) and (2) are scaled-out to high-throughput, the biodata lakes generated will unlock development of the world’s first AI model of evolution. This is a focus for 2025+.
